How does the £500 grant work?

The government's Workplace Charging Scheme pays up to 75% of the cost, capped at £500 per socket, and is open to small accommodation businesses including holiday lets. You apply yourself, in your own name, on GOV.UK. We can explain any question on the form. The scheme closes on 31 March 2027.

How do guests pay for charging?

Guests tap a card or use an app. You choose the price per kWh and the money is paid into your bank account. The small admin fee is paid by the driver, so there are no monthly fees for you.
